just being real this class was actually cool as heck. i enjoyed the teacher and the students . it seemed as if we were all from differnt parts of the world but had the same point of view on all things. lol at least some of us did hahahaha but even though the class is reaching its last week, ill miss the class discussions but not the papers. sorry but im just being TRUUUUUUU.

Sports

derrick rose is one of the best Nba point guards in the leaugue.Due to a recent ACL injury he has been put on the injury reserves and probally wont be returning this season. Rose has established himself as an elite athlete who is extremely strong and fast.Rose's excellent body control and the ability to change direction extremely well contribute to his ability to get to the rim.Rose is at his best in the full court set because of his athleticism.

my first semester of college is about to be over...... thank god lol. i had a fun semester, i enjoyed good plays performed by WMU students and also a performance put on by the stepp afrika group. college is filled with things to do, sometimes more than what you expect. This college life isnt so bad when you  get past having to wake up to the same roommate or eating that cafe food everyday lol

class

class is really cool i must say. The class is winding down i believe and we only have about 3 weeks left. Normally i would try to make a nice impression on teachers around this time, but oh well it college most of the teachers dont even wanna be bothered with students and there redundent questions.

Lakers

the lakers have let go of coach mike brown for reasons many people don't know.  Was it because of the 1-4 record, probably soo. The team has superstars from top to bottom and the GM is not satisfied with the poor performances. Kobe is not pleased with his teammates and would like things to go better. With Steve Nash on the injury reserve the teams must stay on track to keep the team going. The Lakers are a bit dysfunctional now but i feel in a couple months

the NBA is back and im ready to sit back and watch Kobe do his thing. Kobe is one of the greatest to ever play the game. Kobe has won 5 Championship rings and is going for another ring this season. He continues to play with the Lakers and they have added a couple new pieces to there team such as Dwight Howard one of the biggest centers in the league and Steve Nash a sterdy point guard. The lakers have the pieces i just just hope they can when the title.

We got into groups and read each other rough drafts, corrected them, and gave the people in our group’s advice about what they could do to improve their paper. i believe this made the paper a bit more easier on some of the class, especially me. i was confused on how to realate topics but after our group sessions i was on track. This writing class is steadly helping me improve my abilieties to write

Music

Music know in days is nothing comapared to classic artist back in the day. dont get me wrong i enjoy vibing to Wiz Khalifa, and some Kid Cudi. but my pops put me on some guys such as Curtis Mayfield and the Islry brothers. Songs back then had a meaning to it, such as love for a women or a deep feeling for a passion.

Wheres the love? hads it gone away or will it stay i enjoyed the album because i feel JayZ realates to having no love around you because people tend to hate on you for making it out of a bad community.

Martin Lawrence Show

Martin is a hilarious comedian that has been in the industry for awhile now. During his life with Def Comedy Jam, Lawrence appeared in his own hit series called Martin. This has to be one of the funniest shows that have ever aired on television.  The show ran from 1992 to 1997 and was an enormous success. You may have seen him in movies such as Life, Blue Streak, Big Mommas House, and National Security. In my view he is a hilarious person and i hope he continues to be make hits.

the  class is becoming more like a family to me. I feel we all can talk about serious topics and give positive and negative feedback, we take in and elaborate on topics.  As the classes progress i begin to engage in the discussions more because it a small class. The first assignment wasn't to hard, but i feel the more i write the easier it will start to become. I like the assistance i get in this class with miss moses because it easier for me to understand how to do something rather than a person demonstating it.

Magic Johnson has to be one of the biggest entrepreneurs. He was once a basketball player for MSU. he entered the draft in 1979 and became first overall. During his years at MSU he averaged numbers that people had never seen. Johnson became the only rookie to win the  award for MVP and his clutch performance is still regarded as one of the finest in NBA history. He also became one of four players to win NCAA and NBA championships in consecutive years. Magic is one of the few star athelthes to have HIV but overcame the life change and still continues to achieve goals off the court.

homecoming

Homecoming week, the week you begin to reunite with friends you havent seen in awhile. Having friends going to differernt schools around sometimes make you miss mermories that reflect on past years. But all the funny stories and laughter you get from adventures you have seen over the months catches up with you. its a wonderful, yet bitter sweet.

the class was a bit different. watching the movie was unique. it made me realize how strict parents were. carrie describes a typical teenager who fianlly get from and becomes that party animal.

the iphone 5 just came out and everyone is going crazy over it. its it really worth it? is it better than the 4s? I wonder will technicians stop creating technolgy, i was intrested in the iphone until almost everyone i saw had it. Technology continues to change peoples lifes. Does it effect your personal life?

in class thursday the discussion began to make me think if someone took my cells wouldnt i  be mad or upset. As i listened to other classmates, many felt the same way as me. Even though the doctors gave Mrs Lacks proper treatment, i would still be conserned on how and where my cells would be going. Each class, i find myself getting more intrested in the class

this summer was one of the wildest summers ever in my life. Going to college was a plus but spending majority of my time hanging with friends was epic. I made some really close friends over the past years. Miles P was the athlete of the group, Moe was the smoothiest one around and, Aj was the life of the party. These were my friends that keep by my side after my father passed away and i know will always continue to be bros for life.

I find myself understanding the books we are reading in class becacus i can relate. In the Growing Up Black, Po and a Girl, in the Hood i noticed that girls always were conserned about how they looked and were judged on a consistent basis. Also, guys always wanted to be that dominant figure in the picture. The readings are becoming intresting and the class is becoming funnier

College

I have been in college for almost a month now, and I can truly say I feel like a college student. From the morning classes to the study sessions, you can become tired but that doesn't stop the hanging with friends or the football games.  The thing that is different about college and high school is just the fact of freedom from my parents and doing things on my own makes me feel independent . College is going to be fun aslong as i take care of school first.

Steeler Nation

This year the steelers have lost a key factor in thier offense, but that doesnt stop the strong offense from Mike Wallace, and running back Rashad Mendenhall controlling things on the field. During the season opener we went against the Denver Broncos, unfortuantely we lost due to a veterian quaterback named Peyton Manning and a amazing comback. The defense still has its key defensive players such as Safety Troy Polamalu, and line backer James Harrison. The team has potential and  will contnue to show progress.
